Health & Safety Policy

The Company are strongly to achieving the highest possible standards of safety. We will actively promote a culture of health & safety best practices which will lead to the avoidance of, reduction in, risks to health & safety, and ensure compliance with the health & safety at work act 1974 and associated legislation.

The company’s Board have set the following objectives.

To provide the safest possible environment for its visitors, employees and contractors and others who may be affected by our activities.
To eliminate, where possible, risks to health & safety, or where not possible effectively control those risks.
To reduce accidents and incidents to the lowest possible level.
To ensure all employees are competent and effectively trained to carry out their site duties in a safe manner.
To effectively review risks and their controls in an effort to constantly improve standards of health & safety in the light of new technology, legislation and best practice.
To maintain an organisational structure for the management of health & safety, including lines of communication cooperation and identification of responsibilities of all staff.

The company will provide the support and resources to achieve these objectives further guidance on achieving these objectives are set out in the Company Corporate health & safety manual.

These standards are relevant to our own premises as well as work on client sites. All members of management and staff should regard health & safety as an integral part of their normal duties. The company considers that serious or persistent disregard for the policy arrangements is a disciplinary matter and will be treated accordingly.

All employees have duties under the Health & safety at work act 1974 and relevant health & safety legislation, to take reasonable care of their health & safety and that of others who may be affected by their acts or omissions, to cooperate and use all work equipment, dangerous substances and personal protective equipment in accordance with the training and instruction they receive.
